CCA Survey on assistive communication technology findings released

“This survey’s purpose was to contribute to a better understanding of this behavior, and to document the experience and preferences of consumers in regard to the use of such technology. Millions of people use it – millions more could but don’t.”

The Committee for Communication Access in America (CCAA) have released the findings from a recent survey that seeks to investigate why so many people with hearing loss aren’t utilising assistive technologies.

As well as the report itself, there’s also a lot of additional material here, including hundreds of comments submitted by some of the 1500+ participants of the study.
